Silhouette CAMEO 3
Cutting mat
Weeding hook
Adhesive vinyl
Glass jar
Epsom salts
Baking soda
Essential oils
Optional: dried flowers, almond or coconut oil, food or soap coloring
How to make DIY Bath Salts and Customized Jar
Step 1: Open the cut file in Silhouette Studio. Resize the design to fit your jars.
Step 2: Load your adhesive vinyl and cut.
Step 3: After your machine has finished cutting, remove the vinyl, and carefully weed the excess.
Use the hook to remove any small pieces.
Step 4: Use transfer tape to move the vinyl from the carrier sheet to the jar. Apply it to the jar, using firm pressure.
Step 5: Carefully remove the transfer tape.
Step 6: Mix up your salts. Here is our favorite recipe that is super easy to customize:
Easy DIY Bath Salts
1 cup Epsom salt
1/2 cup baking soda
5-10 drops essential oils
Optional: food or soap coloring, dried flowers (they make the salts look so pretty!), 1 Tbsp almond or coconut oil
Mix everything together in a bowl. Separate into the jars.
What mother wouldn’t love to relax with their very own baths salts that were made with love?!
Happy gifting!
