How to Do Water Marble Nails Easily & Get the Best Marble Effect
Today’s tutorial is all about water marble nails. I'll show you how to make a custom water marble pattern on your nails quickly and easily.
Water marble nails are one of my absolute favorite nail art patterns. I am including all my tips and trick on how to perfect this nail art technique!
Tools and materials:
- White nail polish
- Nail polish in different colors
- Clear top coat
- Nail protectors or scotch tape or liquid latex
- Water marble tool or needle
- Nail polish remover and Q-tip if necessary
1. Apply the base coat
Paint your nails white and let them completely dry. Make sure the white coat is thick and even.
2. Apply nail protector
Put on the nail protector around your nails. This will make sure that no polish gets onto your skin.
If you do not have nail protectors you can just use scotch tape or liquid latex.
3. Add water to a bowl
Pour lukewarm water into a bowl or container.
4. Add the nail polish
Add drops of nail polish in the colors of your choice into the water. Make sure that the nail polish is thin so that it can spread easily. Add as many drops of polish as you would like.
5. Mix the polish
Mix the polish to create the water marble pattern. I am using a water marble tool but if you don’t have one you can just use a needle.
6. Dip
Dip your fingers into the water to get an even coat of the polish.
7. Clean up
Peel off the nail protectors. If the polish managed to get onto your skin as well then you can just use nail polish remover and a Q-tip to remove it.
8. Apply the top coat
Once the marble layer has dried, apply an even clear top coat.
Let it dry.

This looks like it's something that my clumsy fingers could actually do, lol, I can't paint my nails without getting nail polish on my fingers, especially on my right hand when I use my left hand which just isn't a good thing💅👈😂.
Will definitely try this, looks very cool!
