Where to Put Your Concealer If You Have a W I D E Face

In this highlighter tutorial, I’m going to show you where to put concealer if you have a wide face.
Obviously, if you have a wide face, you don’t want your makeup to make it look any wider than it already is. This highlighter trick will show you how to create an elongated appearance.
Tools and materials
- Concealer
- Makeup brush
If you have a wide face, don’t bring your concealer out from under your eyes and across your cheeks towards your ears.
This will widen the appearance of your face.
Instead, bring the concealer down along your nose.
You want the light to be focused on the middle part of your face. This will help to elongate your face rather than widen it.
I also like to do a little vertical line on my chin.
And I also put a little bit on my forehead - little horizontal lines going all the way up my forehead.
Doing these things will focus all the light in the middle of your face, and all the shadows will be on the side of your face.
You obviously can’t change the shape of your face, but you can apply your makeup in a flattering way that will deflect attention from the parts you like the least.
I hope you found this tutorial helpful and that you’ll give it a go for yourself!
