Hi everyone! Are you looking out for some easy Christmas nail art that you can do yourself, without having to make a trip to the salon? Well, I've got you!

This fun, nail tutorial is super quick and easy. It's inspired by Christmas and the winter season so it's perfect for the holidays!

Follow along to learn how to create these glitter Christmas nails in 3 steps!

Tools and materials:

  • Clear base coat
  • Light gray nail polish
  • Striping brush
  • Assorted glitter nail polishes in various colors
  • Clear topcoat
Applying base color

1. Apply your base color

Start off by picking out your base color. I’ve chosen a very light gray, almost white, base color. However, you can change the colors up if you prefer.

You should also apply a clear base coat to protect your nails from yellowing. The base coat will help your nail design to last longer too. Then, once dry, paint on your base color.

2. Add glitter stripes

Once the base color is completely dry, take a striping brush and paint stripes of glitter coming down from the cuticle area.

You can use any color of glitter nail polish that you like. Paint in the strips in differing lengths.

Adding glitter stripes

Then add glitter stripes in other colors. The stripes don’t need to be perfect. It actually looks better when the stripes aren’t all the same.

3. Add a clear topcoat

Once the glitter is completely dry, finish off your glitter nails with a clear topcoat. Allow this to dry and you’re done!
