8 Glam Holiday Outfit Ideas for a Super-Stylish Christmas

Not sure what to wear for Christmas? Here, I have eight glam holiday outfits to share with you that are guaranteed to give you some style inspiration. These outfits are stylish, elegant, and have lots of fun festive touches to them.

Black and gold holiday outfit

1. Monochrome and sparkle

For the first look, I’m wearing a black sequined sweatshirt, and I paired it with a black mini skirt and some over-the-knee boots. I love the ruffles on the skirt because I feel that they add a cute feminine touch.

This is a kind of monochrome look, but the gold sequins make the outfit pop. Black and gold is just such a timeless combination that you really can’t go wrong with; it is a winning color palette for the holidays.

2. Striped suit

Next up, we have a boss-lady kind of outfit. I’m wearing a blazer and pants two-piece set. It’s green and stripy, and as we all know, green is a great Christmas color. This suit looks very business-appropriate, but I also like to wear it for the holidays.

To dress it up a bit, I paired it with red pumps and a small red bag. I also have on a pearl headband, which adds a bit of personality to the outfit.

3. Ladylike elegance

This next look is more polished and chic, and has a little hint of glam to it. I started the outfit off with a black bodysuit. I’m not a fan of bodysuits because they can rise up, but this one is super comfortable, and it also has a sheer back, which gives it a nice sexy touch.

I paired it with a mint green skirt with a bit of ruffle in the bottom. Lastly, I finished the look off with a pair of gold heels. Wearing ruffles makes me feel so elegant and feminine. Because this look is quite sophisticated, I think that it would be great for a family get-together.

4. Velvet jumpsuit

Up next, we have a velvet jumpsuit in a burgundy color. Burgundy is a great color for Christmas, and it reminds me of spiced mulled wine. Underneath I’m wearing a sheer black top with polka dot detail, and on top, I’m wearing a faux fur vest.

I also have a dark, bold burgundy lipstick on to match with the gorgeous color of the jumpsuit. If you like a dressy and glam look, I recommend something like this.

5. Houndstooth coat

We all need a classic little black dress in our wardrobe and let me introduce you to one of mine. It has lace details all over, and the sleeves are sheer, letting that lace detail really stand out. I love how simple yet classy it is.

I paired it with black hosiery and added a dash of red with some red pumps. This look is very straightforward but the sleeves and that splash of red give it some character.

To add some winter accessories, I added a black beret and a houndstooth print coat. The coat is so good to throw over an all-black outfit.

Red and blue Christmas outfit

6. Colorful floral

This outfit is funkier; if you like colorful looks, this is for you. I’m wearing a blue wrap dress, and I added red accessories to it - a red clutch bag and a big red flower broach on my belt.

The two colors together look super vibrant; I love how they work together. To finish it off, I’m wearing a pea coat, again in that characteristic bright red Christmas color.

7. Pretty velvet

Next up, I’m wearing an A-line high-waisted skirt with velvet floral detail. I paired it with a gray top and I added some metallic pumps. The pumps made it look more holiday-appropriate. I also added in a red clutch just to sneak in a bit of red.

This outfit is very modest, and if you’re going to be going to Church at all over Christmas, you could definitely opt for something like this.

8. Green and gray

Last up, this is another skirt look. I’m wearing a green pencil skirt and a gray turtleneck top. The top is a crop top, but because of the high-waisted skirt, it just kind of blends well together. This is a more classy look.

I’m wearing some black pumps with a big bow around the ankle, which gives the outfit more of a holiday vibe.

Glam holiday outfits

I hope you like the eight glam Christmas outfits that I put together. When dressing for the holidays, my top tip is to think about your color palette. Red and green are very Christmassy colors, so I like to feature those a lot, and you can obviously go with whatever shades you want.

You can also throw in some gold, silver, metallics, and anything shiny and sparkly for a festive look. Happy Holidays!
