Welcome to this winter lookbook! Here, I will be sharing with you some casual winter outfit ideas that are easy to pull together this season.

I’ve gone for a neutral color palette, and the pieces I’ll be showing you are very versatile and easy to mix and match together.

Leather on leather look

1. Leather on leather

It can be hard to style leather with leather, but I think this look works really well.

I’ve gone for a pair of flared black leather pants and a matching long jacket with a turtleneck top underneath.

For footwear, I decided to wear white sneakers to break up the all-black look a little.

White sweatsuit

2. White sweatsuit

This long wool coat over some sweatpants is a basic look that everyone can wear.

In my opinion, a long wool coat is an essential piece of winter as it’s so easy to bundle on over your outfit and add some style while keeping you warm.

I’m wearing a white sweatsuit as my base as I think that all white always looks more chic than if the sweatsuit were in gray or black.

I’ve gone for some fancy accessories - a silver necklace and a nice bag - to level up the whole outfit.

Pop of color

3. Pop of color

Here, I’m wearing another black leather jacket but this time in the style of a blazer instead of a long one.

If there is a particular piece of clothing that you like, it can be nice to have a few variations on the same theme in your wardrobe.

Under the jacket, I have a beige turtleneck, and to accessorize, I’ve gone for a green bag which adds a little pop of color to the neutral look.

Beige tones

4. Beige tones

This is a great outfit when I’m in a hurry and don’t want to be extra. It is just a simple yet put-together look that is perfect for running errands.

I have on a pair of mom jeans, a black turtleneck top, and a long beige wool coat. Any bag can look good with this look, but the beige one that I picked up complements the coat. The plaid pattern also adds a nice decorative element.

Sweater vest look

5. Sweater vest

Sweaters vests are very on-trend right now, so I wanted to include one in this winter lookbook.

I’ve layered the vest on top of a white button-down shirt, and the collar and the bottom of the shirt peeking out from under the vest help to break up the monochrome look.

Part of the reason why this outfit works well is because even though I’m wearing a number of black pieces, I’ve incorporated different materials into the look, which stops it from looking monotonous and dull.

Patterned sweater

6. Patterned sweater

You can probably tell by now that I frequently dress in black.

I like how black goes with anything, and there is a lot that you can do with it. Here, I’m wearing a patterned sweater which I think gives off a bit of a festive vibe.

Over the top, I’m wearing an oversized men’s jacket. I enjoy styling oversized pieces and always keep an eye out in the men’s section when I’m shopping to see if there is anything that catches my fancy.

Leather jacket

7. Leather jacket

I’m obsessed with this oversized leather jacket.

Leather jackets are a classic piece that have been around for decades. If you invest in a good quality one, I guarantee it will see you through many winters.

I’ve bundled myself up in this outfit, keeping my neck nice and toasty with a great big scarf. Scarves are functional pieces, but they can also be used to accessorize and bring some character to your look.
