Simple Ways to Style Your Sweater Dress
Sweater season is upon us! A pullover, a cardigan, or a sweater dress, sweaters are everywhere. One of my personal favorites for the cooler weather is a sweater dress. A cute fall and winter piece to add to your wardrobe. A basic color dress is easy to dress up or down, giving you the option to style the same piece a few different ways. In this post, I will show you some of my favorite ways to add some style to a basic sweater dress like this one.
I truly believe any outfit looks better with accesorries. Add a floppy hat to any outfit and it is ok by me. This includes a sweater dress with some cute booties like these.
An oversized scarf is the perfect accessory for fall and winter. Throw a scarf over your dress, wrap it like a poncho to help keep you warm, or pair it with a belt on top for multiple cute looks!
Similar to scarves, ponchos are great for your fall and winter wardrobe. Not only do ponchos have the ability to keep you warm, but they also add another layer to help change your look. With so many great poncho options this season it is hard to choose a favorite. However, I received so many compliments when I wore this affordable one from Target.
Sweater weather goes hand in hand with leather weather. A leather jacket is always a good idea. Keep warm and look cute. Pair it with some black booties or taller boots. Additionally, another cold weather staple during “sweater weather” is the perfect blazer.
Teddy coats are easily one of my favorite cold weather pieces. Add a teddy coat over your sweater dress for some chic and warm style.
The best part about a sweater dress is the versatility. Throw on some sneakers with a jean jacket and you have a nice casual outfit.
