Worth It? I Tried Vuori Athleisure Brand & Here's An Honest Review
If you know athleisure and performance wear, you've most likely heard of Lululemon brand. But have you heard of Vuori? While both Lulu and Vuori are performance based athletic clothing brands, each has its own appeal.
I went in person to a Vuori store to see what it was about and tried on a variety of styles. Here is my honest review of Vuori and their pieces. 👇 (+ a few styling ideas)
Before going into an in-depth review, the main takeaway is that it honestly comes down to personal preference.
If you like being in on a super popular and trending brand and having what many others have, I would go with Lululemon. If you prefer having something less well-known but still high quality, I would choose Vuori.

Performance Jogger (Long)
Going into the store, I had a vague idea of what I was looking for. Let me just say... the Performance Jogger was hands down my favorite piece from Vuori. The fabric is super soft and luxurious, the pants are so comfy, and they're flattering too. If I could afford to, I would buy these in multiple colors. The regular length jogger cuffs hit above the ankle, so if you prefer the length to reach your ankles, I recommend the long length (shown above). I also recommend sizing down 1 size for a more fitted look (less baggy).
The only downsides to these joggers are that lighter colors can show panty lines.
Wearing size XS Long
Rate: 9.8/10 ⭐
Styling: I'd wear these with a white top and sneakers to the airport as a travel outfit (did that recently). You can also wear them to lounge in, to run errands, or to work out.
AllTheFeels Legging
Lululemon Align fans, these leggings are for you. They have a similar feel and thicnkess to them, but for about $30 less. They look and feel great, are buttery soft and quite flattering.
When I first tried them, I thought they were just a basic legging - not super unique. But I thought about them for 2 weeks after trying them and ended up ordering a pair. They are now one of my favorite leggings. The only downside is that you can still see panty lines sometimes, and can feel the brand tag just a tad.

Styling: I'd wear these with a white top and a lightweight athletic jacket
Daily Pocket Legging
These leggings were super cute on models, but I did not like them as much on me. The drawstring - eh. It's ok. These are also very flattering in the back and the pockets are a plus! The high waist and thick band look great on almost everyone. I really love a previous version of these leggings called the Elevate Daily Legging with a logo band on top, which are on sale for $20 off the original price.
While these are cute and fun, the ankles can fit weird & loose (left photo). You can also see the drawstring line all around the waistband. The Daily Leggings also come without pockets for about $10 cheaper if you prefer a more sleek look.

Rate: 6.7/10 ⭐
Styling: I would wear these with a white top or matching bra top and sneakers to run errands or workout
Halo Essential Dress
This dress is like the one that got away - you don't realize just how amazing it is. On the hanger, this looks like a basic dress with a steep price tag. But when you put it on, it is the softest, smoothest, most comfortable dress you will ever put on your body. It has a built-in bra and is once again, a pretty flattering piece.
The only downside to this dress is the length. With such a long fitted skirt, it can limit how long of a stride you can take when walking. Honestly though, this dress is so comfortable that if it ever goes on sale, I'm buying it right away.

Rate: 8.9/10 ⭐
Styling: I would wear this alone with white sneakers or add a denim jacket for cooler temps
Outdoor Trainer Shell Jacket
This jacket was a big surprise. While it doesn't look particularly fancy or special, it is unexpectedly comfortable. It is a lightweight outdoor water-repellent jacket that's not too heavy, but enough to protect you from the wind and cooler temps. This vintage pistachio color goes with almost everything!
Only downside is the price tag and uniqueness.
Rate: 8/10 ⭐
Styling: I'd wear this jacket with black leggings and a bra top to go hiking. It also makes a great lightweight jacket or rain jacket
