Wrap your yarn

Start by making a pom-pom using Clover’s Pom-Pom Maker. You do this by tightly wrapping three different colors of yarn around each arm of the pom-pom maker.

Once you’re done wrapping your yarn, you’re going to cut along the pom-pom maker’s guidelines in order to cut the yarn in half. Then tie a piece of yarn in a double knot around the pom-pom.

Open up both legs of the pom-pom maker and remove your pom-pom. Then trim off any uneven parts and the ends of the string that’s tied around it.

Prepare your tassel maker

First, adjust the size of your tassel maker. Then secure the embroidery floss and wrap it around the tassel maker about 25 times (or the entire skin of the embroidery floss.) Then double-knot a separate piece of embroidery floss around the middle of the loop you created.

Now you’re going to cut the embroidery floss by following the guidelines of the tassel maker and cutting the embroidery floss on each end.

Finish your tassels

In order to secure your tassel, tie a piece of embroidery floss in a double knot around the top of your tassel to create a neck. Align the ends of the knot with the rest of the tassel, then use the comb to brush through the tassel. Now grab your scissors and trim off the end of the tassel. Make three different colored tassels.

Thread the tassels

Thread some embroidery floss through a needle and tie it off at the end. Then turn one of the tassels over and thread the needle through the tassel. Now cut off the top tassel strings and thread the same needle through the other two tassels.

Add tassels to pom-pom

Grab your pom-pom and locate the centers of both the top and bottom, then thread the same needle that you threaded through the tassels through the center of the pom-pom.

Add your beads

It’s time to add the finishing touches! So grab your beads and thread the needle through them to give your pom-pom an extra pop of color. Then thread it through the lobster clasp as well.

The last thing you’re going to do is to take your needle and rethread it back through the beads and the center of the pom-pom. When you get to the other side of the pom-pom, tie the embroidery floss into a knot and cut off the excess.
