Make super cool pop jeans

To get started on this first DIY you will need a pair of jeans and some fabric markers. I suggest starting with the biggest prints or patterns you want to draw onto the jeans.

Add color

You can then start adding colors in and around the drawings to add a little extra something to your pair of jeans. This DIY is such fun because you can add as much or as little detail as you want.

How to thrift flip jeans

I love this DIY. It was totally creative and I just adore the little pops of color on the denim.

Bleach the jeans
Make bleach-dyed jeans

For this next look, lay down some plastic to keep the table from getting stained. Fold your pair of jeans in half and then using a water and bleach mix, bleach-dye the front side of the jeans.

Rinse the jeans

Next, make sure to rinse your pair of jeans. Throw your jeans into the washing machine and leave them to dry.

Cut the pockets
Make pocketless jeans

For the next, amazing DIY, start by cutting out the front pockets of your jeans. Make sure to leave the waistband intact.

Cut rope
Create rope thread jeans

For this next crazy-fun DIY, choose any color rope that you want. Wrap it around your hand so that you can cut similarly sized pieces.

Sew on threads

Grab your needle and thread and sew these pieces of rope all along the waistline.

Glue on threads

If you don’t have time, you can always use hot glue to attach your rope pieces. I decided to add the threads to the waistline and leg of one side but get creative with your design!

Open the legs
Make open-leg jeans

A new trend is the open-leg pair of jeans. All you have to do is measure where you want the open section to start. From that point, use a seam ripper to open up the pair of jeans.

Stitch the top

Go ahead and make 2 or 3 stitches so that jeans won’t rip further.

Cut the bottom
Make lace-up jeans

For this next denim DIY, cut off the bottoms from a pair of jeans. I chose to use a lighter shade for these bottom pieces. Cut two pieces off of each leg.

Sew the pieces together

Next, sew two pieces of denim together to create 2 longer threads.

Fold the sides

Take your second pair of jeans and open up the side seams from the top. You will have to fold in the waistband and sew it down. Stitch all the way down to the bottom of the slits, making sure that the fold won’t open.

Cut four holes

Use your scissors to cut four holes on each side of the slit.

Thread the denim

Take your denim threads and start threading through the holes in the jeans.

These lace-up jeans are adorable!

Draw flames
Make a flaming pair of jeans

For this denim DIY, place some paper inside your jeans to avoid the marker going through. Use your marker to draw some totally awesome flames on the front of your jeans.

Color in the flames

I decided to color in my flames with the black marker, but feel free to use different colors for your DIY.

Splatter bleach
Make splattered, bleach-dyed jeans

To get started with this amazing pair, Mix bleach and water and splatter it over the front and back of a pair of jeans.

Rinse the denim

Rinse the jeans, put them in the wash, and wait for them to dry.

Cut out the back
Make open-back jeans

For this next amazing DIY pair of jeans, cut out the upper back of the jeans leaving the waistband intact. Make sure you are using a high waisted pair for this project.

Cut the wide-leg jeans
Make a pair of tied-bottom jeans

This next denim DIY will need a wide-legged pair of jeans. Start by cutting off the bottoms of this pair.

Make a marking

Use an A4 piece of paper and fold it 4 times from the bottom to get the perfect length. Mark that point at the back of the jeans.

Sew on the bottom pieces

At this point sew the bottom pieces you cut off onto the pair of jeans.

Cut down the middle

Turn the pair over and cut down the middle to the point where you sewed at the back.
