I started by cutting up the collar of a black sweatshirt into a "v" shape.

I purchased a "Grommet Kit" with brass grommets on Amazon for about $7.

Next, I mapped out where I wanted my grommets to go and I placed the tool inside to punch out the holes.

After the holes were poked I flipped the sweatshirt inside-out and attached the grommets with a hammer.

Flip the sweatshirt right side out. Then, tie a ribbon through the grommets or leave them open!

Annnd here's the end result! I styled this with some leather leggings, boots and gold hoops.

It is super easy and looks way more expensive then it was to make!

This one has such a fun vintage vibe! I styled this with high-waisted jeans, black booties and a fun bag.

4. Cheetah stencil sweatshirt

For this sweatshirt I grabbed silver fabric paint and a cheetah stencil.

I decided I wanted to do a more "pattern block" effect as opposed to doing an all-over print.

I sectioned off and stenciled across the sweatshirt in the middle.

Then, I added some trim to frame it!

5. 1/2 flannel sweatshirt

DIYing 1/2 flannel sweatshirt

For this sweatshirt, I had an old flannel that I cut up and attached to the sleeves of a maroon sweatshirt.

Make sure the sleeves are cut at the same angle and are the same size.

Slide on the flannel sleeves and fold over to give a more finished look.

Use fabric fusion glue to adhere or you could sew these on if you have a sewing machine!

I added some extra fabric glue by the sleeve to give it some extra durability!

After that, I attached the pocket from the flannel for an extra pop of pattern!

Was wondering where the sleeve buttons did you glue that part to or did you leave that open you know where the slit is
