Denim Ring

My daughter saw some denim jewelry at a fancy shop while on vacation, but the prices were outrageous.

Luckily, she's got the DIY gene and was able to make her own.

She started by gathering her supplies.

Denim scraps

Embroidery Thread

Thread

Needles

Scissors

She had an old pair of jeans that we used before to make an adorable cup cozy.

So she grabbed another piece of the jeans and cut it into a strip appropriate for her finger size. She didn't want it to go over her knuckle but did want it to be a bit on the wide side.

Next, she grabbed the embroidery thread and stitched the word "babe" onto the jeans.

You could add flowers, your initials, a heart or whatever you like. The design is up to you.

Once complete, she cut the extra denim away and stitched it up with thread to fit her finger comfortably.

Simple, original and much more affordable than the pricey shop. Fabulous.
