Over the Knee Boots With a Skirt - 4 Ways

Choose a flowy skirt 

For the first look, I chose a brown polka-dotted skirt. The skirt is flowy and free. I paired it with a white button top - a very classic piece. I rolled up the sleeves of my top to give it a polished effect. This outfit is great proof that over the knee boots are not inherently trashy, you just need to know how to style them. The length of this skirt, along with the blouse keeps me looking balanced and polished. 

Casual and cute 

Over the knee boots can be cute and casual (as is seen in this outfit). I chose a floral mini skirt with a white sweater. I tucked the sweater in to give me a little more shape and think the boots really piece the outfit together. I also added a cross body bag in burgundy to give the outfit a little more color. 

Dress it up 

For this outfit, I wanted to get a little fancier. I chose a faux leather skirt and a red turtleneck top. This time I chose black over the knee boots to go with the night time vibes. I also added a black and white coat over the outfit to pull it together. The coat balances out the style for me and keeps the mini skirt from overpowering. 

Like it long 

There is no reason you can't pair over the knee boots with a gorgeous maxi length. I chose a flowy maxi length skirt with a dalmatian print. I paired it with a plain black top. For some added color I also threw on a hot pink, sleeveless vest and a belt around the waist. I love how unexpected the pink is and how well it works.
