1 Dress and 3 Different Outfits

We all deserve to look and feel fabulous! I always find that a dress is the best piece to make you feel dressed up and gorgeous. In this tutorial, I will prove that when you find the perfect dress, less is more. Check out how I styled one dress in three completely different outfits.

How to style a dress

Layer over the dress

I am a huge fan of printed dresses because they are just so flattering! In this first look, I work my dress in a winter outfit. I tend to get cold pretty quickly so layering is so important to me. I often layer with thermal tights or leggings and even sometimes with thermal tops that work under my dress. I love this stunning coat dress with my printed dress. I love pushing style boundaries which is why I have no problem with a pattern clash, in fact, I love it! If you prefer a more classic look, you can always wear a plain black jacket over your dress.

Easy outfit ideas

Wear a funky jacket

This second look is a little more casual. To me, casual means I can add a little bit more of a funky style to the look which is why I popped on my bright red, leather jacket. Adding the pop of color and the leather gives some edginess to the look that completely transforms it.

Wear heels with the dress

This next look is perfect for the spring or summertime! You can’t go wrong with a bare leg and a pair of black heels. This is a great ‘out on the town’ outfit and adding a pair of tights would make this look perfect for winter. As you can see, you can have huge versatility from one dress! I would love to know which of these 3 looks you would wear! Let me know in the comments!

Or:any light colored short. or long sleeve shirt under the dress. Or:a button shirt over the dress, roll up sleeves & tied @ the waist. Or:dark colored pullover sweater, making it look like a skirt.
