I had a few pairs of plain shoes in my closet and decided to give them a trendy new look!

For this idea, I started with a pair of white boots.

I found these watercolor flower tattoos on Amazon for $5.99. I started by planning out my design - the tattoos I found didn't come with two of each so I wanted to make sure each boot had the same vibe. (Of course you could also do two exact shoes if you purchased two of each tattoos!) You can also add more or less depending on how busy you want them to be.

After that, I grabbed a bowl of water and a sponge and began carefully applying the tattoos on the boots and peeling away the back.

Then, I let them dry for a little while and applied some Fabric Mod Podge to seal them.

I'm obsessed with how these turned out and this was such a simple DIY! So many color and pattern possibilities and so many different ways to use this! You could totally add temporary tattoos to a wallet, a bag -- so many possibilities!

I styled them with a pink dress I had, but they also look great with jeans and so many other looks that need a statement piece!

For this idea, I started with a pair of canvas shoes.

I found these adorable butterfly iron on patches on Amazon for $7.99.

Then, I grabbed some Fabric Mod Podge (you could also use E6000).

Paint the Fabric Mod Podge to the back of the patch.

Then, adhere them to your shoes! As they dry, you may need to add more glue and weigh them down.

This idea would be so cute with all sorts of embroidered patches - flowers, smiley faces, etc. there are so many to choose from!

Such a simple and easy project -- and LOVE how they turned out!

Perfect to wear with jeans running errands, or to add a pop of color to your loungewear!

For this idea, I had an old pair of Chelsea boots and decided to give them a new look!

I grabbed a pack of assorted sized half pearls from Amazon (for only $6.99) along with some E6000 glue and a chop stick and got to work!

I applied the E6000 glue to the end of the chop stick and then applied the glue to the pearl - this really sped up the process!

I decided to just do the front, but you could add more or less depending on the look you're going for!

Love the new look and for only $6.99 I took these plain old boots to a whole new level!

I'd like to know more about the lamp shade. is that some kind of paper used or material? I have to buy 1 for a lamp I have & if I can get 1 at a reasonable price I'd like to try this. 24 pictures of the shoes & nothing but the video for the lamp shade & no description. Would be nice to do more for people who want to do some of these. Why put something on if you aren't going to do enough so others can do it.
