3 Ways to Style a Red Midi-Skirt

Hello! I love wearing midi skirts! One of my favorite skirts to wear. It’s a very versatile piece to have in your closet. When I’m buying clothes to wear to work or on the weekend, this skirt is my go-to. I have several midi-skirts in different colors. I’ll have to do a capsule collection on my midi-skirts alone. I’m petite and I must say a midi-skirt looks good on our body type. I’m sharing 3 ways to wear this red midi skirt. Red is one of my favorite colors and an on-trend color to wear all year round. Check out this cute skirt here https://bit.ly/3r9QNpg

This first look is great for the office or business lunch with a client. I paired this midi-skirt with a navy blazer, nude camisole, and pink nude-colored heels. I wanted to style this skirt with a blazer for a dressed-up look, and you can take the blazer off and still be chic. Make sure the blazer is a tailored cut, instead of the boxy type. You want to show off your silhouette and not swallow you up. Show off those curves girlfriend!

For a more casual look, I paired this look with platform sneakers and a print blouse. If you’re looking to style this skirt with a blouse, grab the button-down one. You can tie the blouse into a knot or layer a camisole underneath. Great for the weekend to run around the city. If I’m going to be out all day, I want a skirt that will be comfortable. It’s a soft material so you can look forward to wearing it in the spring and summer.

I wanted to style the last look with a crop top. So, I paired this skirt with a black crop top and black heeled sandals. I ended up tucking in the shirt to accentuate my waist more. These sleeves are so girly and I love ruffles. An easy and simple look, but classy and sophisticated.

I hope this gave you some ideas to style your favorite red midi skirt. Let me know in the comments, how you styled your midi-skirt.

Happy Styling!

Those skirts were in style back in the late 70s. I kept mine as a reminder of how tiny my waist was back then. We called that a knife pleat. I volunteer in a thrift store and I came across a navy blue one 2 days ago. I guess I should see if anyone wants my old one now
