Prepping face

1. Prepare your face

Start with a clean and moisturized face.

Apply a primer followed by a foundation suitable for lighter coverage.

Conceal any areas that need extra coverage, like under your eyes and around your mouth, using a concealer.

Shaping brows

2. Shape your eyebrows

Use a taupe eyebrow pencil to fill in sparse areas of your eyebrows with light, feathery strokes.

Combing brows

Blend the eyebrow pencil with a brush for a natural look.

Lining lips

4. Line your lips

Line your lips with a strawberry lip liner to define the lip shape and prevent lipstick feathering.

Apply a lip primer to prevent lipstick from settling into fine lines.

Lining eyes

5. Line your eyes

Use a green eyeliner pencil to line the inner rim of your eyes for a subtle pop of color and added definition.

Applying eyeshadow

6. Apply base eyeshadow

Choose a soft olive eyeshadow from a green palette and apply it all over your eyelids as a base color using an eyeshadow brush.

Highlighting brow bone

7. Highlight your brow bones

Use a cream shade from a neutral palette to highlight your brow bone for added dimension.

Adding eyeshadow

8. Add depth with eyeshadow

Select a deeper green shade from your palette and apply it to the outer half of your eyelids, blending towards the crease for depth.

Adding eyeshadow

Use a warm taupe shade to define the crease and add dimension to the eyes.

Adding eyeshadow

9. Line your lower lash line

Use a wedge brush to smudge the deeper green eyeshadow along your lower lash line for a soft, smoky effect.

Applying mascara

10. Apply mascara

Apply two coats of brown mascara to your upper and lower lashes for definition and volume.

Lining eyes

11. Enhance your lash line

Line the inner rim of your lower lash line with a green pencil for added intensity and definition.

Cleaning up edges

12. Clean up the edges

Use concealer on your finger to clean up any edges around the eyes for a polished look.

Adding shimmer to lids

13. Add shimmer to your eyelids

Apply a shimmering beige eyeshadow to the center of your eyelids to catch the light and add a subtle glow.

Adding shimmer to lids

Blend it in with your palette brush.

Adding blush

14. Apply blush

Choose a subtle pink blush and apply it to the apples of your cheeks for a natural flush.

Blending blush

Blend it in with a large fluffy brush.

Contouring

15. Contour

Use a bronzer to lightly contour your cheekbones for added definition.

Applying lipstick

16. Apply lipstick

Apply a warm-toned lipstick, such as russet, all over your lips straight from the lipstick case.

Add a touch of cinnamon gloss to the center of your lips for a glossy finish and the illusion of fuller lips.

All good until the application of shimmery shadows. Be very restrained here as shimmery colors enhance wrinkles...no one wants that.
