The Most Coquette DIY You Can Do Yourself
This bow jacket is the most coquette DIY you can do.
Follow along to see how you turn a plain old blazer into something wildly different.
And if you like it, expand your horizons and start decorating anything you want!
Tools and materials:
- Old solid-colored blazer
- Ribbon bows in a color of your choice
- Sparkle beads
1. Choose your materials
Start with a plain, solid-colored blazer.
Get it from your closet or the thrift store.
Now, choose your decorative elements. I’m using small ribbon bows and sparkle beads to transform my blazer.
3. Attach your decorative elements
Work out the arrangement you like best for your decorative elements.
Use a little or as much as you want.
I’ve chosen to put sparkle beads in the center of each bow.
Use a hot glue gun to assemble your decorative elements and attach them to your blazer.
DIY bow blazer
I covered my blazer with ribbons, and over a plain white shirt, I think it looks terrific!
Give this a try yourself, and leave a comment to let me know what decorative elements you chose.
And remember, you don’t have to limit yourself to blazers. Your closet is your oyster!
