Tools and materials:

  • Micellar water
  • Brightening face scrub
  • Chemical peel
  • Exfoliating toner
  • Lightening serum
  • Eye cream
  • Daily moisturizer
Cleansing skin

1. Cleanse your skin

Start by using a micellar water to remove any makeup.

If you prefer not to use micellar water, double cleanse by using an oil-based cleanser followed by a gel-based cleanser.

Ensure thorough cleansing to remove makeup that has seeped into your pores, which can contribute to textured skin.

Using face scrub

2. Use face scrub

Use a brightening face scrub, preferably one that contains vitamin C for skin brightening and that has gentle exfoliators.

Using face scrub

Focus on areas with bumps, such as the nose and chin, to remove whiteheads or blackheads.

Regular use of the scrub helps remove dead skin cells, leading to brighter and smoother skin.

Leaving face to dry

3. Air dry your face

Allow your face to air dry instead of using towels to prevent any potential irritation.

Air drying helps maintain the skin's natural moisture balance and can contribute to a smoother complexion.

Applying chemical peel

4. Apply a face peel

Apply a chemical peel like the HA BHA chemical peel to address texture and discoloration.

The peel penetrates deep into your skin to remove dead skin cells, revealing a smoother complexion.

Leave the peel on for 10 minutes before rinsing off.

Applying toner

5. Time for toner

Use an exfoliating toner known for its effectiveness in reducing dark marks and hyperpigmentation. Apply the toner with a makeup pad.

The toner helps remove dead skin cells and smooth out the skin's texture.

Note: in general pick between the face peel or exfoliating toner, and don’t always use both in the same routine.

Adding serum

6. Add serum

Dab on a lightening serum to target dark spots, especially those caused by acne.

Adding serum

Use your fingertips to smooth it into your skin.

Use the serum daily, both in the morning and at night, to see noticeable improvements in blemishes over time.

Applying eye cream

7. Apply eye cream

Address dark circles under your eyes with an eye cream containing caffeine.

Applying eye cream

Blend in your eye cream with your fingertip.

The caffeine helps reduce puffiness and darkness around your eyes, contributing to an overall brightening effect.

Applying moisturizer

8. Apply moisturizer

Finish off the routine with a daily moisturizer, suitable for sensitive skin.

Opt for moisturizers that soothe the skin, especially when using strong actives like chemical peels and AHAs/BHAs.
