Here, I’m going to show you how you can add a scrunchie to make your bun bigger.

This is such an easy and effective hack that will give you a gorgeous, big, voluminous bun. Let’s get started!

Tools and materials:

  • Hair ties
  • Scrunchie
Tying half ponytail

1. Tie half ponytail

Start by tying your hair in a half ponytail with a hair tie. Then, add a scrunchie over the top.

Splitting hair

2. Split hair

Now split the hair in your half ponytail in two, with a top half and a bottom half.

Spreading hair

3. Spread hair

Spread the hair of the top and bottom sections to conceal the scrunchie.

Then, add a hair tie over the top.

Spreading hair

Continue spreading your hair so that it covers the scrunchie.

Pulling on hair

4. Pull on hair

Then, pull on your hair to make it more voluminous.

Wrapping hair

5. Wrap hair around

The last step is to take a strand of hair and wrap it around the base of the bun to conceal the hair tie.

Gorgeous voluminous bun

Here is the finished look - we have a gorgeous, voluminous bun.

The scrunchie makes the bun nice and puffy, but the hair from the half-ponytail conceals it so that it isn’t seen at all. I love this hairstyle and hope you do, too!
