How to Get Your Space Buns to Look Big and Full
If you love space buns but yours look small and thin, here’s a way to give them more volume.
You just need a couple of hair ties and some grips. Let’s do it!
Tools and materials:
- Hair ties
- Hair grips
- Tail comb
- Hairbrush
1. Front section
Part your hair in the center.
Separate out a few strands either side of the parting, about 2 inches back from your hairline.
Hold them out of the way with a grip.
2. Make the bun
Divide the rest of your hair vertically in the center.
Gather one side into a ponytail where you want the bun.
Wrap a hair tie around it twice. The second time, don’t pull all the hair through.
Fan the loop out to make it as full as possible.
3. Wrap
Twist the tail of the bun around itself a few times.
Wrap it around the base of the space bun.
Secure the ends with clips.
Make a second bun to match on the other side.

Release the front strands and smooth them either side of your face.
