How to Get the Braided Space Buns Look
Here, I’m going to show you how to get the braided space buns look.
That’s right, we’re going to be combining braids with buns in one super cute hairstyle.
This is great for those of you with long hair. Let’s get to it!
Tools and materials:
- Hair ties
1. Braid hair
Start by dividing your hair down the center at the back. Tie up one side of the hair so it’s out of the way.
Then, make a French braid from the bottom of the head all the way to the top. (You might find it easier to have someone else do this for you).
2. Tie braid
When you get to the top of your head, tie the braid together with the rest of your hair at the front of your head with a hair tie.
3. Create bun
Don’t pull your hair all the way through the hair tie, but rather, only pull it halfway through at the end to create a bun.
4. Wrap the ponytail
Divide the rest of the ponytail in two, wrap it around the bun, and then tuck the ends under the elastic.
5. Repeat
Repeat all of the steps on the other side.
How to get the braided space buns look
Here is the finished look. The two braids at the back of my head look super neat.
I love the unique appearance of them coming from the bottom of my hair rather than the top.
The two buns up top look really loose and messy which is exactly what we want.
