Easy Half-up Half-down Twist Hairstyle
I have an easy, half-up half-down twist hairstyle for you to try.
This is a great choice if you’re looking to mix up your everyday style in just a few minutes. Let's get started.

Tools and materials:
- Tail comb
- Claw clip
- Paddle brush
- Hair tie
- Alligator clip
- Clear, hair elastic
1. Lift a section of hair on either side of a middle part
Start with a middle part. Use a tail comb to lift equal sections from either side of your part.
Temporarily clip them up together with a claw clip.
2. Make a ponytail
Use a paddle brush to smooth hair back from your temples, pulling them behind the claw clip and securing a ponytail.
3. Twist
Remove the claw clip and separate the hair to either side, recreating the middle part.
With 1 section, hold the hair from the root and twist it, gradually moving backward.
Continue to twist the tail, beyond the crown of your head.
Make a temporary twist bun and secure it with an alligator clip so the hair will remain twisted.
Then repeat for another twist with the other section of hair.
4. Cross, make a loop and pull the ponytail through
Ensure that both sections remain twisted while removing the clip. Pull the twists upward and cross them.
Make a loop and hold the ends. Then pull the ponytail up, through the loop.
Lean forward to keep the ponytail out of the way and secure the ends of the twisted pieces, underneath the ponytail, with a clear, hair elastic.
The end result of this half-up twisted hairstyle is gorgeous!
