5 Cute Hairstyles for Dirty Hair That Are Super Easy to Do
Let's face it: more than a few of us don’t wash our hair every day. Sometimes we want to sleep in, sometimes we just don’t feel up to the task, especially on those weekends when you have to go out but you want nothing more than to stay in bed.
Fortunately, there are a few hairstyles for when your hair is dirty that you can do when bedhead just isn’t an option! Keep reading to find out our best hairstyles for dirty hair.
Tools and materials:
- Hair ties
- Bobby pins
- Brush
1. Double-braided low buns
Make sure your hair is parted down the middle and split into two sections. With the first section, start from the top and begin to braid your hair against the scalp and down until you reach the end.
Pull and loosen up the braid to give it a little volume.
Twist the braid continuously around itself until it forms a little bun and then secure it with a hair tie.
This is what it should look like.
Repeat on the other side.
Here’s the finished look!
2. Half-up bun
Put the top half of your hair into a ponytail, and pull out the front strands to frame your face.
Twist your ponytail.
Then wrap it around itself into a high bun. Secure with another hair tie.
Here’s the finished look!
3. Low messy bun
Put your hair in a low ponytail, keeping a few front pieces out to frame the face.
Separate your tied hair into two sections.
Then flip your ponytail through the gap you made twice.
Wrap the remaining hair in your ponytail into a bun and secure it with a hair tie.
Here’s the finished look!
4. Twisted side braid
Part your hair to the side. Then, take a front piece of hair and begin twisting it.
After a few twists, grab another piece of hair under the first section and twist them together.
Keep adding new hair and twisting until you reach the back of your ear.
Secure the twist with a bobby pin. Don’t worry about it loosening; you don’t want it too tight.
Brush all of your hair to the side, leaving a few strands on the un-twisted side, and braid the rest of the hair all of the way down.
Here’s the finished look!
5. French-braided bun
Part your hair down the middle and french braid your hair down until you reach your shoulder. For now, tie off the rest of the hair to keep the braid from unraveling.
Repeat on the other side of your hair.
Remove the hair tie in the first braid and join the two braids together in the back. Twist the tails together and then wrap them into a bun. Secure with a hair tie.
Here’s the finished look!
