7 Quick & Easy French Pin Hairstyles That Look Effortlessly Chic
If you have never styled your hair with French U-shaped pins, then pay attention to this tutorial. I will show you how to do seven French pin hairstyles you will want to wear all summer long! Let’s get right to it.
Tools and materials:
- 2 French U-shaped hair pins
- Your beautiful long hair
Hairstyle 1
Braid your hair at the back with a three-strand braid.
Twist the braid up into a bun..
Insert a French hair pin in the middle-bottom of the bun
Then, raise the hairpin and push it down through the top of your bun. Watch the video to see how to do this.
With the French u-shaped hairpin, this hairstyle has real staying power!
Hairstyle 2
Take the top section of your hair, twist it, then make a knot with the twist to create a small bun.
Insert a u-shaped pin from the top of the bun at an angle.
Here’s your second hairstyle!
Hairstyle 3
Gather a full ponytail at the back of your head and twist it up into a bun.
Insert the French u-shaped pin from the side of the bun and you’ve got another cute look.
Hairstyle 4
Twist a full ponytail into a bun, but this time tie your hair into a knot, as we did with the half-bun style. Insert the French u-shaped clip from the side, angling it down as you push it through.
Voilà! One more summer hairstyle.
Hairstyle 5
Wrap your hair into a messy bun in the middle of the back of your head instead of at the nape, by looping the hair and pushing it up. See the video from 1:03 to see the full technique.
Insert the French u-shaped pin straight down from the top.
Hairstyle 6
Part your hair down the middle at the back of your head. Twist each side into a bun behind your ear.
Insert the French u-shaped pin at the bottom of the bun, then twist the pin up and push it down through the bun from the top. Then you have a fun messy space bun hairstyle!
Hairstyle 7
Twist hair upwards at the back.
Take the end of your hair and fold it back down on itself.
Insert the French hair pin from the bottom, but then flip it up and wiggle down to secure, as in previous styles.
You can add a second pin to keep it super-secure if you prefer.
