Are you looking for a great way to relax and unwind at the end of the day? A nice warm shower with these sleepy time shower melts are a sure way to get ready for a great night’s sleep!
Here’s how to make Sleepy Time Shower Melts!
1/2 Cup Baking Soda
1/4 Cup Citric Acid (you can find this in the canning section of the grocery store or order it on Amazon)
1/4 Cup Corn Starch
Good Night Blend Essential Oil
Lavender Essential Oil
Frankincense Essential oil
Water- about 2 tbsp.
Silicone muffin wrappers, or other silicone mold
The first thing you want to do is mix your baking soda, citric acid, and corn starch together in a large bowl.
Then create a little well in the middle. Drip in 15 drops of the Good Night blend, and 5 drops each lavender and frankincense. Stir until they are well incorporated into the baking soda mixture.
Now you’re going to stir in your water just a little at a time. Pour a little (about 1/2 a tsp)  in the well in the middle and stir quickly, it will fizz a little bit but not too much. Once that water is incorporated pour in a little more and stir it in. Keep stirring in the water in 1/2 tsp increments until the mixture holds together when pinched.

Now press your sleepy time shower melt mixture into your molds or silicone muffin wrappers. I like to go ahead and put mine in a muffin pan, it helps them stay sturdy while I press it in. Use the back of a spoon and press down firmly, they will rise a little. To make six you want to fill them about 1/3 of the way up.

You want to let them dry for 24 hours before removing from the wrappers,
Once they’re dry they’re ready to use! Just sit one on the floor of the shower and it will dissolve letting it’s relaxing scent fill the air!
