5 Cute Curly Long Bob Hairstyles That Are Super Easy to Do

I love styling my short hair because it’s so easy to do. Follow this tutorial for five super-quick curly long bob hairstyles. But if your hair isn’t too curly, then flip over to my tutorial for straight hair: How to Style a Lob. Let's get curling!
Tools and materials:
- Curling wand
- Comb
- Bobby pins
Curly Bob Hairstyle 1: Loose Curls
Start this hairstyle by taking a two-inch section of hair at one side of your head, at the front. Wrap that section around the curling wand from font to back, holding the wand away from your face.
I'm using the "Trinity" Tourmaline 3-In-1 Curling Set by Duvolle, but you can use any curling wand for this.
Now, take another two-inch section right next to the first and wrap that around the curling wand in the opposite direction. Continue to take sections and wrap them in alternating directions until you’ve completed curling all of the hair on your head.
Once the curls have cooled, apply hairspray, and scrunch your hair.
Then just run your fingers through your hair to loosen the curls and add volume.
What a fun and easy look!
You can also add a simple headband. I love this embroidered headband - I think it really elevates the look.
Curly Bob Hairstyle 2: French Braid
Create a deep part on one side of your head and curl any random sections of hair that are looking messy.
Take a small section of hair from the front on the side of the part and begin making a simple braid.
Add a few more sections of hair to the top part of the braid and then continue braiding until you reach the bottom.
Pin the braid to the back of your head, hiding the end of the braid under a section of hair.
Here's the look! I like that this hairstyle keeps my hair out of my face and has a cute braid detail.
Curly Bob Hairstyle 3: Top Knot
Take a large section of hair from the middle top of your head and pull it to the back.
Smooth out any bumps and then loosen a few strands of hair from the front at each side.
Twist the hair that you pulled to the back around it itself to create a messy bun and secure it in place with bobby pins.
To finish, use the curling wand to curl any messy strands of hair.
Here’s how it looks from the side.
Curly Bob Hairstyle 4: Twisted Tie-Up
Make a center part and then take a section of hair from the front and one side. Twist the section, pull it to the back of your head and pin it in place. Repeat on the other side.
Curl any loose sections of hair that are looking messy.
And here’s what you get in less than 2 minutes!
Curly Bob Hairstyle 5: Pouffe
Take a small section of hair from the middle top of your head and pull it to the back.
Loosen two strands of hair, one from each side of the section you pulled back, to frame your face.
Use a comb to smooth out the section you pulled back, then twist the section at the back and push the whole section forward to get some lift. Once you have the height you like, pin the section of hair in place at the back with bobby pins.
To even out the pouffe, you can use an eyeshadow brush to lift the hair from inside the pouffe.
Curl any loose sections of hair that are looking messy.
Super cute in under 5 minutes!
