Easy Hair Hack - No Braiding Needed!
Ditch the braided crown. This easy hair hack gets you the same, semi-formal look without having to actually braid your hair.
Let’s jump right into it!
Best hair brush!
Tools and materials:
- Hair ties
- Hair clip
1. Create a front section
Create a section in the front of your hair.
2. Twist the front section
Tightly twist the front section about halfway down the length of your hair.
3. Create a second section
Create another section roughly the same size right behind the first section.
4. Twist the second section around the first
Pull the front twisted section over the second section.
Then, slowly wrap the second section around the first while twisting it with your finger.
Twist and wrap down the length of the hair. You only need to twist for about as long as you want the crown to be.
Clip away the twisted section for now.
5. Clip away the top half of hair
Gather all of the hair beneath the twisted section and just above the ear. Clip it out of the way for now.
6. Create a small section from the bottom half
Take a tiny section of hair from the remaining hair.
7. Tie together the twisted section and the bottom section
Combine the twisted section with that small section of hair to secure the braided crown to your head.

It’s gorgeous! My only question is: doesn’t your hair get all tangled/knotted up …is there a trick to preventing this when taking it apart?
