Easy Hair Hack for a Professional-looking Updo
Here’s an updo hair hack that you can use for medium and long hairstyles.
Your friends will for sure think you’ve been to a professional stylist!
Tools and materials:
- Large bauble-headed hair pin
- Bobby pins
1. Start with a ponytail
Start by putting your hair into a high ponytail with a large bauble-headed hair pin.
Get the largest bauble you can, because you will use it for this updo hack!
2. Wrap your hair
Take one section of hair from the side of your ponytail.
And wrap it around the front of your bauble, bringing it to the other side.
Tuck it under your ponytail.
Now take another section of hair and bring it up to the front of your bauble.
Bring it around the bauble to the other side of your head.
Repeat by taking a new section of hair from the first side of your ponytail.
Wrap it around the front of your bauble and down as you did before.
Continue wrapping alternate sides of your ponytail and it’s all been wrapped.
3. Remove the hair pin
Now remove the bauble-headed hair pin and your wrapped ponytail will stay in place!
4. Smooth your updo
Use your fingers to gently pull the loops of your updo into a smooth, even look.
5. Secure with pins
Secure your updo in place with hair pins.
