Hack 1. Easter egg beauty blender holder
This Easter egg hack changed my life after I discovered it. If you know me, you know I love for things to be very clean and organized. So, it drives me crazy when my beauty blender gets everything else in my makeup bag dirty after I’ve used it.
I used to wrap my beauty blender in tissue, but now I just use a plastic Easter egg! The cool thing about this is even when your beauty blender is thick after just using it, it still fits!
Hack 2: Get rid of a pimple with Advil Liqui-Gels
This next hack is so cool and it’s one of the best-kept secrets by makeup artists.
All you have to do is take an Advil Liqui-Gel—it has to be the liquid version—and any time you have a pimple, break the tablet apart and apply it directly to your pimple.
It helps with inflammation, redness, and getting rid of your pimples!
Hack 3. Mascara or eyebrow gel for gray hairs
The next hack is for people that have gray hair and haven’t had time to color their hair. If you’ve ever asked yourself, “Can I use mascara to cover gray hair?”, the answer is yes!
There are a few variations of this. You can use brown mascara that matches your hair color or those eyebrow gels that are already brown. This is temporary, so it’s great for a night out or if you’re going to take a selfie.
Hack 4. Curl your hair with just a pencil and a flat iron
Curling irons are expensive, and if you already have a flat iron, with this hack, you don’t need one.
All you need is a wooden pencil. Do not use a plastic pencil as it will melt on your hair!
To curl your hair, just wrap the wooden pencil around your hair and tap your hair with the flat iron. It’s going to create the perfect, effortless wave.
Hack 5. Get the perfect wing with tape
This next hack is my all-time favorite hack and I use it all the time!
It uses tape to get the cat eye effect when applying eyeliner or even eyeshadow. When you’re about to apply your eyeshadow or liner, put it at the angle you want your cat's eye and apply your makeup regularly.
At the end, just remove it and your makeup is flawless! It looks like a professional makeup artist took the time to do your makeup.
Hack 6. Get the perfect crease with a spoon
This next tip is another eyeshadow hack. Basically, you take a small spoon and put it directly over your eye.
Then, apply your shadow using your crease brush and it gives you the perfectly creased eyeshadow. It’s so simple and looks good for those wanting to do a more dramatic look.
Hack 7. Contour your nose with a fork
We’re moving on from the spoon to the fork!
I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve always struggled with contouring my nose, but this hack is genius.
All you have to do is put a fork against your nose and contour on the outside of the fork and the line will be straight on both sides. It’s the perfect guide, and you can use the middle to highlight! Then just blend it all together.
