Glowing Alia Bhatt Makeup Tutorial
Alia Bhatt is a very popular Bollywood actress. While she's known for her fabulous acting skills, another thing that stands out about her is the glow that she has on her face.
If you're like me and if you've always wondered how she gets that glow, she recently posted a video about it.
Join me as I follow the steps myself to create an Alia Bhatt makeup look.
Tools and materials:
- Hydrating mist
- Moisturizer
- Highlighter
- Contour
- Makeup brushes
- Blush
- Translucent powder
- Brow pencil
- Bronzer
- Eyelash curler
- Mascara
- Lip liner
- Lip gloss
- Setting spray
1. Prep face
Start by prepping your face, I’m using a rose water prep and refresh spray that is a hydrating mist.
This instantly revitalizes, softens, and hydrates the skin, creating a smooth canvas before you apply anything else.
2. Moisturizer
Next, apply moisturizer, I’m using a tinted one that has a bit of a glow to it.
3. Moisturizer and highlighter
Mix together moisturizer and highlighter on the back of your hand and apply that over your face with your fingers.
This isn’t going to give you full coverage because you're using a tinted moisturizer with a sheer coverage highlighter.
It will give you a very skin-like finish while maintaining the glow.
4. Concealer
For extra coverage in areas where it's absolutely needed, apply concealer that is a true match to your skin tone.
I’m using it under my eyes, around my mouth, around my nostrils, and to cover up dark spots and patches.
5. Contour
Apply some contour to the areas you would usually apply it with an angled brush.
Once the concealer has tried a bit and it is a bit more tacky, blend it in.
6. Blush
Apply some blush on the highest points of your cheekbones and blend it out so it gives you a lifted effect.
7. Translucent powder
Use translucent powder to set the areas where you used concealer, and it could crease.
8. Brow pencil
Fill in the sparse areas of your brows and give them a little bit of shape.
9. Bronzer
Pick up some bronzer and give a wash of color to your lid space.
Then, using a smaller brush, smudge the same eyeshadow in your lower lash line and smoke it out.
10. Highlight inner corners of eyes
Proceed to highlight your inner corners.
11. Mascara
Finish up the eyes by curling your eyelashes, and then apply a mascara that will give you a natural finish.
12. Lips
Line your lips with a nude color lip liner and fill them in. Then, apply a nude lip gloss over the top.
13. Highlighter
The final step of the look is to take some more highlighter and press it in on the highest points of your face.
Finish by applying setting spray over your face.

Here is the finished look!
While I do really like it and think that it gives me a natural-looking glow, I don’t think it provides enough coverage for my skin type, as some of my acne scars underneath are still showing.
