1. Prep your skin
Begin by using products that boost moisture and plumpness in mature skin.
A serum stick is not only convenient to apply, and is full of skill moisturizing elements.
Hydrate your lips with a moisturizing lip balm.
2. Prime your face
Apply a primer that hydrates and smooths out the skin texture, and achieve a smooth canvas for your makeup application.
3. Apply foundation
Start with a minimal amount of full-coverage foundation, and apply it with your fingers for a natural finish.
Instead of a contour stick, use a deeper shade of foundation to create dimension.
Apply the foundation to areas like your cheekbones and jawline.
4. Use color correction and concealer
Mix a color corrector with concealer to address age spots, dark circles, and hollows, while minimizing the layers you apply to your face.
Apply this mixture under your eyes and wherever else you want to color- or spot-correct your skin.
5. Add blush and setting powder
For a natural flush, use a cream blush stick on the highest points of your cheekbones.
Then use translucent powder to set areas where makeup tends to move, focusing on the T-zone.
6. Set your makeup
Lock your makeup in place with a setting spray.
7. Enhance your eyes and brows
Fill in your brows lightly with a brow pencil for a natural, fluffy look.
With the leftover concealer that is still on your concealer brush, clean up under your brows.
For eye makeup, create a bright and youthful look with warm eyeshadow shades.
Start with a light shade from your palette, in your eyelid crease, and then move to a deeper shade for your lids and the outer corner of your lower lash line.
Then switch to translucent powder on the inner half of your lid, to make your eyes look bigger and brighter.
Use the same translucent powder to highlight your brow bones.
Apply eyeliner on your upper waterline.
Use your fingertips to smudge the eyeliner out in the outer corner, for a subtle smokey wing effect.
Curl your lashes.
And apply mascara to both your upper and lower lashes for a wide-eyed look.
8. Complete your lips
Use a fine-tip brow pencil as a lip liner to prevent bleeding. Choose a neutral shade that complements your lipstick.
Apply lipstick in a flattering shade.
Top it off with a transparent gloss for added shine.
