Brightening brow bone

1. Brighten brow bone

Brighten your brow bone as well as the outer corner of your eye at a diagonal angle for a lifted finish to the eyes.

A lighter shade of concealer works great for this. Be sure to blend the concealer in.

Brightening eyelid

2. Brighten eyelid

Create the illusion of a bigger eyelid by brightening the center of your mobile lid.

Adding bronzer

3. Apply bronzer

If you have the space, place some bronzer above the socket of your eye.

Applying eyeliner

4. Apply eyeliner under eyes

Using a fine brush, bring some brown eyeshadow underneath your lower lash line halfway across.

Applying eyeliner

Then create a small baby wing on the outer corner keeping it perpendicular to the highest point of your eyelid.

Applying eyeliner

5. Apply eyeliner to waterline

Open up the eye by applying a cream pencil to your waterline.

Curling lashes

6. Curl lashes

Then, give your lashes a nice curl.

Applying eyeliner

If you have smaller eyes, use a more precise eyelash curler like this one.

Applying liquid liner

7. Apply liquid liner

Instead of losing space on your top lid with liquid liner, apply it underneath your top lash line.

Applying mascara

8. Apply mascara

To make the most of your natural lashes, apply a lash primer. Then a coat of mascara.

Adjusting makeup for evening

9. Make evening appropriate

To make this more evening and appropriate, darken that outer wing with a little bit of darker brown eyeshadow.

Also, pop on some brown eyeliner one-third of the way across your waterline.

This would be great if you had actual showed it on a hooded eye.

We have no idea how this looks on a real hooded eye.

I have worked on clients with hooded eyes for over 20 years but as none wished to be filmed for YouTube I thought I would still share my tips and tricks - for which, many are grateful and have found very useful. Feel free to look through their comments as clarification that these work. And if you try them yourself please feel free to share a photo of yourself.
