Easy Tutorial for a Spiral Bun Look

I’m excited to share this easy tutorial for a spiral bun look. Wearing your hair up and out of your face is most convenient.

The problem is sometimes putting your hair up can look boring. That’s why I love this spiral bun. There’s nothing boring about it.

Tools and materials:

  • Brush
  • Hair elastics
  • Bobby pins
Pulling hair back

1. Pull it back

Pull your hair back into a ponytail. Use a brush to make sure the hair is pulled together neatly.

Pull out a few tendrils around your face, if you like.

When tying your hair up, start your bun leaving the ends of the hair down.

Twisting hair

2. Twist it around

Take the ends of the hair and split it in half. Twist both halves and wrap them around the base of the bun.

Tying hair

Tie them together at the back of the bun with a small hair tie.

Tucking hair

3. Tuck and finish

Take the ends of the twisted hair sticking out of the small hair tie, and roll it inward.

Tuck it under the bun and use a bobby pin to secure it in place.

I love how intricate and sophisticated this hairstyle is. Best of all, it’s practical, convenient, and simple to pull together.
