Easy Half up and Half Down Hairstyle
I am so excited to show you guys this easy half-up and half-down hairstyle. I love a nice half-up look for summer.
It’s a great way to stay cool with your hair out of your face, while still having some hair down to maintain the feminine style of long loose hair.
Tools and materials:
- Hair clip
1. Prep work
Brush your hair so it’s free of knots and easy to work with.
Separate the top half of your hair and pull it together at the back like you’re making a half pony.
2. Loop and tie
Use one hand to hold the hair and loop it around the fingers on the other hand.
Use those fingers to pull the hair through the loop and create a knot.
3. Accessorize
Now that you’ve got a gorgeous knot, put a clip just under it, securing the ends of the hair from the knot in place.
This will help maintain the knot and it also adds another level of style to the look.
You can pull some strands out at the front of your hair if you like.
Easy half up and half down hairstyle
I love that this hairstyle is so quick and simple to create. The knot in the hair creates this great juxtaposition with something hard like a knot in something soft like hair.
