Styling Denim Shorts
It’s getting hot out there and most of us will be switching our denim pants for denim shorts. So I’ve put together some looks I normally wear when I pull for my denim shorts.
Here is just a basic yet classic look. Slightly fitted tank in a neutral color so if you’re into color you can add fun accessories. I added a hat as an option to change up the look some. You could also opt for a bodysuit.
Speaking of classic looks, here I paired the shorts with a solid button down. This shirt makes the distress shorts look more put together. Also incorporated a hat in one look and you could totally rock this look with wedges or heeled sandals.
Can’t go wrong with a floral top in the summer! Did this off the shoulder boho peasant style and for fun added a hat again.
This top has both smocking detail and the tiered effect which is right on trend. The length on a petite frame can shorten us more, but nothing a heel can’t fix. I paired this look with some wedges to elongate my legs balancing the look out.
Lastly a good ol graphic tee. I tend to stick to white and cream graphics tees, but you can do any color you like best. Both of these are from Target and very affordable.
