How I Wax My Hairline to Look Perfect
Follow along to learn how to wax your hairline for a cleaned up look. It’s easy to do in a few simple steps.
Tools and materials:
- Face cleanser
- Wax
- Wooden popsicle stick
- Tweezers
- Shea butter or face oil
1. Wax off the bulk
Start off by cleansing your face, up to the hairline, then pat dry and allow the hairline to dry completely.
Then, apply wax according to the instructions to the hair outside of the main hairline. Work in small sections at a time.
2. Brow area
While you have the wax out, clean up around your eyebrows, if you’d like.
3. Forehead area
If you have tiny hairs on your forehead, you can clean those up too. Notice that I’m still working far from the actual hairline.
4. Tweeze at the hairline
Use your tweezers to remove hairs, creating a gradient between where you waxed and the beginning of the hairline.
This is vital because you want this to look natural.
I’ve made the mistake of waxing my hairline before and I want you to avoid that!
Tweeze very loosely the higher up you go. Being overly precise will give those harsh lines that you don’t want.
5. Cleanse and moisturize
Finish up with a light cleanse and apply a bit of oil or shea butter to the hairline area.
