2 Preventative Steps to STOP Makeup Creasing
Hey guys! Today, I want to show you how to stop make-up from creasing.
Creasing foundation and concealer can ruin the whole look of your make-up. I’m going to share the two best preventative measures I have found.
Tools and materials:
- Beauty blender
- Gel moisturizer
1. Proper use of beauty blenders
The number one cause of creasing concealer and foundation in my opinion is using your beauty blender incorrectly so I’m going to show you how I use it.
I like to clean it well between uses. The most important thing is to get the blender completely dry after washing it.
Run the beauty blender under water to get it clean and then squeeze out all the water.
Getting every last bit of water out is essential. Just keep squeezing it either with a towel, or just with your hands.
When you think it’s dry, tap it on your forearm to check and make sure.
2. Moisturize under your eyes
The second way to prevent creasing is to moisturize under your eyes.
You typically don’t want to add too much skin care product on your face before make-up. In most cases, extra product will cause creasing.
However, it’s the opposite when it comes to under your eyes because it naturally can get very dry there. I recommend a gel moisturizer because that works better when you want to prevent creasing.
