Cute and Cheap Summer Dresses!
My style for most days as of late is simple and cute. I’m getting older and I am finding the value in basic pieces that are versatile and useful. That doesn’t mean I don’t like “extra” things, I just have been leaning towards simple. An item that will fall in the simple category for me is cute, basic dresses because they are an easy one item to grab and especially those that can be paired with different types of shoes ie: tennies vs sandals as well as ones that can be layered to carry into other seasons.
This Amazon dress is a total win! I saw it on an Instagram story and had to grab it. It comes in multiple color combos as well as solid colors. I snatched this light pink and orange duo as I wanted a fun summery look. It fits true to size. It’s not tight, but the material does hug your figure. I paired with some platform tennis shoes but sandals or heels would be adorable too.

I’m always on the fence about midi dresses because I’m short (5’3) but this one fits great, hitting just right and the side slit helps break up the longer skirt.
Another adorable option is this cute batwing tee shirt dress from Shein. It comes in a TON of colors and it’s $11! The material is soft and not see through. This dress can be dressed up or down. Will be super cute come fall with a denim jacket over it. I got the coral color but will likely grab another color….or 2! 😬
