- Enamel paint
- Earring hooks
DIY Christmas tree & gingerbread earrings
Start with a two-part epoxy resin compound.
Mix equal parts of the compound in a paper cup.
Stir the mixture slowly for five minutes and then let it sit so any bubbles can rise to the surface. Then, transfer a bit of the epoxy to a clean cup and add a few drops of green resin dye and some green glitter and stir to combine.
Pour the epoxy mixture into a Christmas-tree-shaped silicone earring mold.
Repeat the process but this time use brown epoxy dye and gold glitter, then pour it into a gingerbread man silicone mold.
Tip: use a heat gun over the poured epoxy to remove any bubbles that formed when you were pouring the epoxy into the mold.
Let the molds set for 24 hours and then remove the earrings from the molds.
Use enamel paint to add details to your earrings. Enamel paint is perfect for these earrings because it won’t flake or chip off and dries opaque, so it gives a nice vibrant color.
You can use a toothpick or paintbrush to add color.
Attach a jump ring and earring hook to each piece to complete your epoxy Christmas earrings. Now you have two great pairs of earrings!
DIY Christmas wreath earrings
Use a glittery green pipe cleaner and some small jewel charms to make these earrings.
Thread a charm onto the pipe cleaner and then thread the pipe cleaner around and through the hole of the charm once to hold it in place.
Repeat with three more charms.
Shape the pipe cleaner into a circle, and twist the ends closed.
Add an earring hook by twisting the pipe cleaner around it, and then snip off the excess pipe cleaner.
Now you’ve added quick, easy, and festive wreath earrings to your Christmas earring collection!
