Tools and materials:
- Curry or rosemary leaves
- Glass container with lid
- Hot water
- Strainer
- Glass jar
- ¼ measuring cup
- Aloe vera gel
- Castile soap or baby wash
- Soap making mold
1. Add curry or rosemary leaves
Add a handful of fresh curry or rosemary leaves to a glass container. Both ingredients stop hair fall.
2. Soak the leaves
Add hot water to cover the leaves and let them soak overnight with the lid on.
3. Strain the stewed leaves
Strain out the leaves over a glass jar. This should yield about a ¼ cup of liquid.
4. Add aloe vera
Next, add a ¼ cup of aloe vera gel to the jar.
5. Add a soap element
Next, pour in a ¼ cup of castile soap or natural baby wash.
6. Mix and pour
Mix well. Then pour the liquid into a soap making mold.
Freeze to solidify. Once hardened, your DIY shampoo bar is ready to use.
Just rub a cube between your hands to create a luxurious lather.
Massage the lather into your scalp and hair and then rinse thoroughly.
