Looking for a way to add instant glam to a plain outfit? Silk scarves have been around for ages and can give an old outfit a new look! With Mother's Day around the corner, it's an inexpensive but beautiful gift she will be able to use again and again.

Accessories are a must in any fashionista's closet, scarves are inexpensive and come in a vast array of colors. This Novmay leopard scarf is only $11 on Amazon. They can be tied in a multitude of different ways, which makes them the most versatile of accessories. Here are 4 ways I like to style them with a jacket or suit.

The vintage trench has a safari feel, normally, I like to wear a colorful scarf, but in this case, I wanted the leopard print to be the focus so I kept all the other colors the same.

In the 1st photo, tie the scarf into a simple bow or knot around your neck and crisscross the tails to fold under the lapels. This creates the most classic look.

Draping the scarf around your shoulders, under the lapels, tucking into the belt and fanning the tails out a bit. This is a great way to add color to a solid outfit.

#3 for a more dramatic flair, drape it over just one shoulder, tuck it into your belt, and fan the tails. Put a brooch or pin at the shoulder to hold it into place since the silkiness will cause it to slide.

#4 Putting one side under the lapel, put the other side around your neck, and let the tail drape down your back. This looks great with any type of style.

Picking a print or color from the scarf and matching it to your shoes is a great way to achieve a cohesive look. A hat and sunglass will always add an extra style boost. This scarf comes in a lot of different colors, I have a few on my own Mother's Day list!

Blessings,

Eden
