How to Style a Scarf- Purse Accessory Edition
If you’ve followed my page for a while you may have seen I’ve styled a scarf in my hair several ways last March. One of my favorite accessories for the summer. Helps to cover up beach/pool hair and can add a little extra pizzazz to your swimsuit looks.
I would normally do this tie on a one handle bag, but you get the idea. Please refer to video below where I show you how I do this. I first fold the scarf to a size of about 2 inches in width and then start the wrapping process on one end. Then continue wrapping until I get to the other end and tie off with a knot leaving out the end of the scarf.
Here I do the same with the scarf folded to about an inch to 2 inches in width. Then I hold it at the middle to get it centered and tie it in a knot around the handle, leaving the ends out. This gives a very “effortless” look.
Lastly, doing the same with the scarf but instead of leaving the ends hanging you just tie it in a bow. Adjusting it until you get the desired look.
