Easy

This quick and easy scarf hack will help you keep warm and cozy this winter.

You lose most heat through your head, so it’s really important to cover it in the cold. My idea also adds an extra layer to your clothing so it keeps you extra snug.

Tools and materials:

  • Long, wide scarf or pashmina
  • Jacket
Wrapping scarf

1. Wrap scarf

Fold your scarf in half widthways and place the center of the scarf in front of your neck.

Cross both ends behind your neck and bring them to the front. Adjust the ends so they’re the same length.

Tucking ends

2. Tuck in ends

Feed each end over and through the front loop of the scarf to secure it in place.

Making hood

3. Make hood

Grasp the top edge of the scarf behind your head and pull it up over your head to make a hood.

Arrange the hood so it fits over your ears and around your face.

Layering

4. Layer

Cross the ends of the scarf over your chest. Put your jacket on over the scarf and make sure the scarf ends are lying flat and feel comfortable under your jacket. Zip or button up your jacket.

Easy scarf hack

Now you’re warm and toasty! Your head, neck and chest are protected from the cold and you look glamorous. For an even more stylish look, color match your scarf to your jacket.
