This awesome DIY salt scrub will help your dry hands or dry skin by exfoliating and moisturizing them. I love that this recipe is made with simple ingredients that you probably already have at home. You can see more of my crazy creations here

I placed one-half cup of salt into a small bowl. You can easily amend this recipe to make a big batch if you like. You can use any kind of sugar if you prefer.

I added 1/4 cup of avocado oil into the bowl with the salt. You can use any other type of oil you like.

If you have sensitive skin you can stop here with the natural body scrub. I added one tablespoon of lemon juice to my mixture.

I mixed the salt, avocado oil, and lemon juice together until mixed thoroughly. It will be grainy which is what you want as that will exfoliate the skin.

How to use:

  1. Wash hands with soap then rinse.
  2. Put a small amount of the salt scrub in your hands or on your body
  3. Rub around your skin in a circular motion to exfoliate and moisturize your skin
  4. Rinse off with warm water.
  5. Pat dry on a towel.

I placed my mixture in a small mason jar or put it in an air tight container.
