How to Style Wide-Leg Pants

Denim

I’m starting off with a pair of denim wide-leg pants; I feel like it doesn’t get any more classic than this. I really like this light-wash color. I’ve paired the jeans with a button-down top in a bright coral. I’m wearing a pair of open-toed mules in a soft brown for shoes, and I also added a small little baguette-style bag in the same color.

Monochrome

Here I’m wearing wide-leg pants in a taupe color. The pants actually came pleated, but me being me, accidentally ironed the pleats out! I still love the way that they look, though, and the movement of them. I added a tank top in the same color as the pants to create a monochrome look. Who said that monochrome couldn’t be bright? I accessorized with a necklace, and on my feet, I’m wearing a pair of wedge sandals. To break up the look a bit and add some variation, I added a square brown statement bag.

Yellow

I love the color and love the material of these pants; they are just so flawless. I paired the pants with a leopard print top because I think that they blend really well together. I love that there is the option to wear the top either on or off the shoulders. For shoes, I added a pair of open-toed sandals that have a transparent style to them, and I added a round wicker bag to finish off the look.

Mint

For the last look, I’m wearing a pair of pastel mint green wide-leg pants. I paired the pants with a printed top because the colors of the top blend well with the pants. The pants are a paperbag style and came with their own mint green ribbon belt, but I wanted the pants to stand out a bit more, so I added my own black belt with a gold buckle. I’m wearing the same transparent shoes as the last look; they match anything. If you want to wear this outfit in the daytime, I would add a gentle pink off-the-shoulder bag; the light hue blends in perfectly. I would add a small black bag with some gold details for a nighttime look, which gives off a more chic and sophisticated vibe.
