Jazz Up Your End-Of-Winter Wardrobe

The end of winter is here. If you’re tired of wearing heavy boots and heavy jackets and are counting the days until the spring equinox, it might be time to add a little splash to your winter wardrobe for one last push.

I know I start to feel the winter drag on and tend to wear a lot of black because most of my warmest clothes are black – black turtlenecks, black leggings, black boots, black jacket.

So, I decided to see how to inject some life and color into my tired black winter wear.

Here are some ways to jazz up your end-of-winter wardrobe.

Tie One On

Grab a colorful sweater in a fun print and tie it on as a belt or a neck scarf. This will add a pop to your dull look and come in handy if there’s one last arctic blast.  Shop colorful sweater.

Large Scarf

Grab a large, colorful scarf and experiment with different ways to tie it. Look for ways to wear it so the scarf works almost like a blouse, showing the beautiful colors and print. Try using a scarf ring to add a blingy accessory. See my suggestions on  how to wear a scarf ring in my previous article.  Shop large scarf.

Colorful Ruana

As winter winds down, there may be days when you don’t need a heavy coat but still need something to keep warm. Reach for a colorful ruana wrap. You can easily throw this over any boring outfit and add some style and color. You can even layer it over your winter coat. Try tying and wrapping it different ways for some variety. See my suggestions for  wearing a ruana wrap in my previous article.  Shop ruana wrap.

Now that you know some ways to jazz up your winter wardrobe, which one will you try?
