Layering During Pregnancy

Here to show you the art of layering your clothing while pregnant. If you're anything like me while expecting there are just some areas of your body that you would like to minimize. Let me show you how!

Duster. This floor length duster was such a staple for me during this pregnancy. The white lace, floral features, scalloped edges and puff sleeves made any outfit instantly lighter and more delicate. Covering my bum and minimizing my chest are always the two areas I focus on and this piece effectively covered both. Short kimono. Was the previous article too long for your liking? Try a short and flowy kimono instead. This chiffon material is perfect for coverage while still keeping you cool. You can find kimonos in so many fun patterns and colors. Keep your bottom layers neutral and have the kimono be the real focal point. Adding a chunky necklace helps draw the eye away from the chest as well, if that is your goal.

Tie around your waist. Grab one of your favorite button downs and tie it at the top of your belly to accentuate your bump and cover your bum. This is a great use of a top that doesn't fit you during this season of your life. Try adding a layer to your all black ensemble for some extra coverage and extra style.
