5 days – 5 outfits and here’s the round up! PLUS a bonus day with LIKEtoKNOW.it links, as well!

This is such a basic piece that has so many possibilities! And I’m going to show you a few this week. Five ways to style a favorite Fall basic that will get your creative juices flowing

DAY 1

I started with the most basic of all looks – jeans. But it’s not just jeans – the great thing about a black turtleneck is that the other pieces of your outfit can really shine. Instead of a basic skinny jean, I’ve paired it with my favorite homemade fringe skinnies and my black block heel Frye booties.

This is the perfect excuse to pull out my  @zodiacaa Leo  earrings and some flashy bangles. Because the top gives my accessories top of the marquee.

Do you have a black turtleneck pushed to the back of your closet or under a pile in your dresser drawer? Pull it out for this week’s feature – you’re going to learn a lot.

I’ve added some great tops on my LIKEtoKNOW.it post – Macy’s is having a great sale – all under $50! I’ve also linked some fringe hem jeans and booties! Che I them out – they’re super cute!

DAY 2

I love layering with dresses – and a turtleneck is a perfect pairing for a Spring/Summer dress to make it Fall Worthy! I bought this Level 99 Bethany Zipper Dress when quarantine first started (hey, I was alone with just the internet to keep me warm!) and thought I’d be wearing it out sooner than later to a girls night. Luckily, it’s perfect with this top to wear in the cold weather.

I added a chunky necklace to give the outfit a bit more bling but not taking away from the zipper front and grommet details.

DAY 3

I love to think of this as my Steve McQueen look – turtlenecks look sooo good under soft, yummy leather jackets. I mean, come on! I think I look damn cool  (even though it’s raining on me).

I styled my turtleneck with this amazing Blank NYC leather blazer I got from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale – it’s still available (get it through my LIKEtoKNOW.it link! And I found these Silver jeans baby bootcuts in my denim stacks. I received this Eddie Borgo chain link necklace in my Curateur Fall box.

You can find the pieces I’m wearing as well as suggestions – most under $100 – by using the LIKEtoKNOW.it app for the shoppable links!

DAY 4

Of course the turtleneck is an obvious choice for a professional vibe – I love how it looks with a blazer and trousers. And BONUS – you can wear the top half for your Zoom calls!

I love this Liverpool blazer – so easy to wear and machine washable!

I don’t have a video for this outfit – I was sitting in a car line waiting for COVID tests for myself and my son. We’re all negative, thankfully!

DAY 5

Snow edition.

It’s not unusual for New England to see snow in October! But it’s sometimes a shock on the system! I had to pull out my winter parka to put together today’s look.

This is the perfect weather for a turtleneck – keeps that neck extra cozy and with a faux fur lining on my hood, keeps the back of the neck toasty.

These are my favorite snow boots – these Frye tall Engineer boots are made with greasy leather so they repel the snow. Just a comfy pair of warm socks and I am off to the hockey rink.

Let me just talk about this Pom Pom Beanie! This handmade hat is from  @salemstyle is so fun and warm – this small business has the best crocheted hats and scarves – and they’re in one of my favorite places to live.

Check them out – I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

BONUS!!

I had planned a maxi skirt for Friday but snow…. Here’s a throwback from the shopyourclosetchallenge while Winter turned to Spring. I paired my turtleneck with a Bobeau maxi skirt and my, at the time, brand new initial necklace which I had to show off with the perfect black background.
