Alot of people are familiar with the benefits chia seeds can have when adding them to your foods. Well, there are also benefits to putting it ON you and not just in you. Chia seed face masks can help soothe inflammation if you’re feeling puffy. Or if you struggle with acne the chia seed hydrates your face and helps clear troubled areas. Chia seeds are packed with antioxidants that are good for helping reduce signs of aging as well.

Here is a reel I made for my Instagram @diybyshikha you should follow me if you enjoy DIY recipes like this one!

First put a handful of chia seeds in a bowl.

Next pour half a cup of milk into the same bowl.

Allow the chia seeds to soak for at least two hours.

Next pour the seeds and milk combo into a blender and blend it together into a paste.

Add 3 tablespoons of rice flour to your mixture and mix everything together. You should mix it until you have a puddy consistency.

You should be able to pick up the glob like this… It almost looks like slime or puddy

Now spread it all over your face and wait about 15 minutes

Peel the mask off (this should be super easy because of its consistency)

Wash your face after so that your skin is clean!
